For Rooftop Owners

Host Agreement

This agreement explains the responsibilities of hosts who list rooftop spaces on RentRoof.

Host Responsibility Disclaimer

RentRoof is a marketplace and listing platform. RentRoof and SUF Digital do not own, operate, manage, inspect, control, supervise or guarantee any rooftop space listed by a host unless expressly stated in writing. The host remains fully responsible for property rights, permissions, safety, listing accuracy, guest rules, neighborhood issues, cancellations, refunds, damage claims and legal compliance connected to their rooftop space. Any manual verification by RentRoof is for platform trust and safety only and does not create any warranty, guarantee or liability for RentRoof or SUF Digital.

Property Ownership or Permission

Hosts must either own the rooftop space or have clear legal permission from the owner, landlord, building management or authorized decision maker before listing it on RentRoof.

Building Society Approval

If a building society, apartment association, landlord, management committee or neighborhood authority requires approval for events, visitors, music, food, photography or commercial use, the host is responsible for getting that approval before accepting bookings.

Safety of Rooftop and Facilities

Hosts are responsible for checking and maintaining the safety of the rooftop, stairs, entry routes, railings, flooring, lighting, electrical points, washrooms, kitchen areas, furniture and any other facilities offered with the listing.

Accurate Listing Details

Hosts must provide accurate photos, price, capacity, amenities, location guidance, availability, restrictions and house rules. Any change in condition, access, pricing or rules must be updated before accepting new bookings.

Guest Conduct Inside the Property

Hosts are responsible for setting property rules and managing reasonable conduct inside their space. This includes noise limits, guest count, timings, waste disposal, smoking rules, music restrictions and prohibited activities.

Required Local Permissions

Hosts are responsible for any local permissions, notices, licenses or approvals required for events, paid gatherings, filming, photography, food service, sound systems or other activities hosted at their property.

Neighbour Complaints

Hosts are responsible for handling neighbor, building, society or community complaints connected to events held at their property, including complaints about noise, parking, access, crowding or disturbance.

Damage Claims

Hosts must document property condition, communicate damage rules clearly and handle damage claims directly with the tenant or guest. RentRoof may assist with records where available, but the claim remains between host and tenant.

Refund and Cancellation Rules

Hosts must clearly state cancellation, refund, rescheduling and deposit rules before accepting a booking. Hosts are responsible for honoring the policy shared with the tenant.
